I am an Engineer and New Media Artist from Salzburg in the Austrian Alps. Through writings, algorithms, protocols, sound and motion I demystify the systems that structure the world we live in. I understand technology that I am surrounded by as (re-)mediators, specifically computation, I like to understand as a process into which I bring myself and the culture I am rooted in. Born in 1985, my work is based on my history as a human growing in to a world that got more and more replaced by an engineered and designed one. My practice transitions invisible layers of technology to more tangible modes. I wonder how new spontaneity can grow out of those binding constructs? I work in Brooklyn, NY and Salzburg, Austria.
